Do I need to be a medical patient to ride with Comfort Travel?

No. While our primary focus remains to transport, disabled (ambulatory and wheel chair bound) clients to and from medical appointments, rehabilitation, dialysis and other types medically related procedures, we have also expanded our services. We can now transport anyone just about anywhere they want to go, such as shopping, social events, family reunions etc. Hospital discharge is also accommodated.

Can I have a family member or attendant ride along?

Yes. A family member or an attendant is welcomed to ride along. There is no charge for this service. The companion must have the same pickup origin and drop off destination as the client.

What is your service area?

Comfort Travel regularly transports non-emergency clients to hospitals,various medical facilities and other destinations throughout Northeastern Wisconsin. In addition, we can easily accommodate transportation needs to such renowned regional facilities such as the Marshfield Clinic in Marshfield, Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Children's Hospital of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, University of Wisconsin Hospital in Madison, Shriners Hospitals in Chicago and Minneapolis to name a few. In short, with sufficient notification, we can take you comfortably almost anywhere.

What is the cost of your service?

Comfort Travel was started to accommodate the needs of those least able to afford our services so we strive to keep our costs below the average for our area. Costs are based on the type of service provided and the distance traveled. Contact Comfort Travel for the latest cost information.

How much notice do I need to give for a scheduled pickup?

One or two days notice is usually all that is required. Same day service can be accommodated if an opening in the schedule exists.

May I bring my guide dog along in the Vehicle?

Absolutely. We have several clients who bring their guide dogs with them on most medical appointments.

What is your cancellation policy?

Our service to you is very personalized and pre-scheduled with our para transit vans. Please notify us promptly of any cancellation. We offer a 'No-Charge' cancellation policy if a pickup is cancelled anytime prior to 30 minutes before the scheduled pickup. If cancellation is not received prior to that time, the client is billed for the scheduled trip.
